Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Foundation for Health Equity!
This year marks a remarkable milestone—the 20th anniversary of Foundation for Health Equity! For two decades, we've pursued our mission with unwavering commitment: improving health outcomes for all residents of Northwest Philadelphia.
Since our founding, we've invested over $10 million through more than 500 strategic grants, impacting the lives of nearly 700,000 community members. As we honor our past achievements and envision the future, we're filled with both gratitude and renewed purpose. Our work continues with even greater determination as we begin this next chapter of creating meaningful change.
This momentous journey would not have been possible without our generous donors, dedicated board members, and committed community partners—thank you all for being integral to our success story! Here's to the next 20 years of improved health for everyone, no matter where we live, who we are, or how much we earn.

Foundation for Health Equity serves as a connector, bringing together community leaders and organizations to tackle shared challenges and develop collaborative solutions. We are committed to providing resources and timely information that can strengthen organizations and enhance the health and well-being of everyone in our community. Through these sustained efforts and community partnerships, we continue to build a stronger, healthier future for our community.
October 2024: Foundation for Health Equity and the Sarah Ralston Foundation hosted Advocacy in Action - a conversation for nonprofit leaders dedicated to supporting older adults. The convening dove into how organizations can create advocacy opportunities, uplift the voices of older community members, and legal boundaries for nonprofits when advocating.
